Wow, an option to move the backup camera from the mirror to the Entune unit. :goingcrazy:

Wonder if I can retrofit it to my 2012? Oh wait. . . .

Now we just need some photos. I assume since it says that mechanically it will be unchanged means that the body style will remain the same for the 4x4 and the pre-runner.

And I'm sure it will cost twice as much then doing the mods on your own since that it's "Toyota" branded.

Of course it will cost more. People pay for that kind of factory option, and pay more than cost of parts happily.

Don't like it, don't buy it. Super clean installs and factory warranty has a value to many enthusiasts.

I meant entune (stupid autocorrect) I hope that they keep the engine and everything cause they are the best gas engines and transmissions I have ever seen

LAME, even Porsche makes more changes when they release a new car and that thing still hasn't changed.

Hopefully there will be something to get excited about in '15. I think this horse has been ridden into the ground. Ram 1500, 3.0 diesel, 240 hp, 420 ft pds torque, estimated 28 mpg highway, full air suspension, hmm. Loyalty only goes so far, raised in a Ford family but my Ranger no longer fit my needs, neither did the behemoth F150 with atrocious mpg. Jumped ship! The Tacoma was a perfect fit and still fits my needs mostly.

I just hope Toyota lets the auto enthusiasts in their employ over rule the bean counters and put some innovation and excitement back in the Tacoma.

It'd be nice if they changed the exhaust note, the majority of the ones out here sound like a raspy nagging old woman chasing you down the sidewalk waving a cane. Yes, especially the new ones.
