    I just purchased my 2014 tacoma a week ago, and now every time I start it up, it has a laser type sound that goes off like 5 times then stops. It only goes off at starting the truck. I don't know what it's for since there are no warning lights or anything on the dash. It has just started doing it, maybe 3 days ago. Any help is appreciated.

    Its not just standard beeps. The best way I can describe it is a laser sound that goes off like 6 times. I'm pretty sure it's not the seatbelt because I tried buckling it before starting the truck and it still made the sound.

    Kind of lost on what it could be without some way to reproduce the audio and a view of the dash.

    Do you have a rear-view camera system with park assist?
    Aftermarket alarm system?
