I have a 2014 Tacoma with a standard (non-gps) media system. About 3 weeks ago I was driving, heard a pop and the screen went blank white and I lost radio and Bluetooth as well. I restarted the vehicle, disconnected the battery, and pulled fuses, nothing changed. I started driving again and after a few minutes the system rebooted itself. Then a week after that, the system rebooted itself when switching from the backup camera back to the media page. Then yesterday morning I went to drive my truck and the screen was white when I turned it on, and has yet to reboot itself. I thought it might need an update but the Toyota site says there are no updates available for the non-gps version. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I am a broke college student and don't wanna take it into a dealer. Thanks!

Even if there was an update, once its white its locked.

Best you can do is disconnect the battery for a few hours and hope for the best. But I've never had any luck.

You can keep your eye open to market places for people who have upgraded to newer head units.
