Damn that thing is ugly. But the gas mileage and power seem nice. You won't find me in that car looking thing though.

People should be happy with what they got, and if you don't like either don't buy it or get something else. The way to see a change in shit is for the company to see a decrease in numbers.

A little of everything, but mostly fail, beginning with the originally linked article that looks like it was written by a cub reporter from the local high school newspaper :D

Lol I just like how people are complaining about the design even tho it's a hilux. And even tho that was pointed out on every page people still have to ask or question it. And then... Ehh ill jut say teenagers.. Lol

Complaining about the design, yet they are in other threads crying that we can't get the Hilux here!

Granted, this Hilux does look a little "fatter"... looks like the 2013 Hilux was given a facelift to make it look a little more like the Tundra, which is not a move in the right direction IMHO.

i dont know why everybody has such a hard on for the hilux. i drove one for 6 months while i was in the desert and i have to say, they are pieces of s**t. everything rattled, creaked, and broke. and yes they were new-er vehicles. the only good thing about it was MAYBE the motor but it lacked power. mash the throttle and it just seemed to barely rev and was very sluggish.

sure a diesel would be nice for some of you but the majority wouldnt go for it so i wouldnt count on it

X2 I would take my tacoma over a hilux any day. Ive jumped my truck and beat it harder than most of these hiluxes. they are pieces of crap just like you said. they fall apart easily, creak loudly and are uncomfortable as all hell. The stock suspension sucks i could go on and on. ive seen broken motor mounts, battery mounts the intake and airfilter boxes break remarkable easily. you name it.
