Hello everyone. Charlie here from Northern Minnesota.
Looks like I'll be changing out my 2014 Regular Cab 4x4 Taco for a new 2021 TRD-Sport Access Cab 4x4 Taco, both with 6-Ft beds. Does anyone know if my beloved topper that's on my 2014 will fit on the 2021? The sales guy at the dealership thinks not.
Appreciate any input Y'all might give. Thanks!

It will physical set on it, but it will not "fit"

It's useable (if it doesn't have the rail covering lip) but it will look goofy sit to high and not line up right with the tailgate.

Sell it separately from the truck you'll get more money from a member here for it than a dealer who will probably take it off before reselling and put that money towards a new correct flush fitting topper.

Welcome to the TW. I think the angle on the cab of the truck is different between the regular cab and the access cab. The big problem is that the cap is for a 2nd gen, and you are getting a 3rd gen, different body styles.
