2014 Transmission Concern

    They do not check on PDI-I confirmed with my dealer. Also-I asked dealer about what other say about charging, Toyota can not charge a warranted truck to check your fluid if its showing signs of trouble. If you drive in off the street and randomly ask them to check fluid, they could charge you.

    There is no charge and they do not check on PDI. The dealer said that if you randomly go in and ask them to check your fluid without presenting issues they could charge. They CAN NOT charge you (set by Toyota Policies) if you go in under warranty with a concern. they have to check the fluid as part of the warranty troubleshooting process.
