I recently purchased a new 2014 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4X4. When I come to a stop the truck has a vibration to it. It only occurs when the AC is on and the truck is in gear and stopped. I always notice it at a stop light. Anyone else noticed this or have any solutions? The dealership said its normal!

The dealer said that because it is. No big deal once you get used to it.

Mine does this too, sitting at a light or idle. Smooth as glass when driving though. I didn't notice this with my 2008 1GR, or my 2010 PreRunner 1GR.

Doesn't seem to be effecting anything though, truck runs good.

my 2.7 shakes at idle. 16k miles 2013. embarrassing....I have had several comments on how "rough" the engine feels. Idles at about 700. Also have a driveline vibration that is noticeable while driving away from a stop especially with some weight in bed. Goes away after 10 mph or so. I never had any of these issues (or any issue) with my last new truck....09 Colorado. Seems like design problems to me from what I gather...not sure its worth even mention at dealer. Cranking up my idle speed to cure vibration sure is cheesy....and I bet that's what they would do.

I'm having similar vibration. Did you ever get to the bottom of it?
