    All,

Apologies if this is covered in other forums, but I'm a new guy here. I bought my truck a few weeks ago and was recently driving on the "beautiful" Newport, RI roads (potholes and cobblestones!) and noticed a distinct "squeaking" from the truck bed/rear end. I tried to recreate the noise when parked by rocking/bouncing in the bed however it wasn't the same. I'm wondering if this is "common", or if I'm just being hyper sensitive? Any info is greatly appreciated. For what it's worth I had a 2006 TACO that I traded that did not squeak when on the same roads... Thank y'all!

Sounds like squeaky leafs. Do a search and you will find a variety of remedys.

Also try crawling underneath and give your spare tire a few good whacks on the sidewall.

*edit* To clarify that's not a fix. Just hit the spare and see if that is what is making the noise.
