I am looking to buy rear jump seats for my 2015 Tacoma. Mine is the rare utility package without the seats and due to expecting a child, I need to find some seats ASAP. If anyone has any for sale or knows where to find them online for a reasonable price, please let me know!

I wonder if they'd be the same as a '10. I took them out years ago when I made my platform. Was keeping them for re-sale, but might consider a trade/cash deal if I could get that OEM utility rear panel. Where are you?

I too have a 2010 Access Cab with the light gray interior of that era. And, if a another person has the utility interior and wants to make a swap. Let me know.

And a note to the OP, not one of the child seats I saw and tried would fit in the access area without sliding the front seat all the way forward, then tilting the back forward too. So, before you make a serious investment in shipping and de-install/reinstall - you might want to find someone with an Access Cab and try a seat in it. A perfect size for my 35 # French Brittany, not so much for my normal size (wouldn't provide weight) daughter though

I'm in NH. The seats and console are in a couple of smallish boxes and not too heavy. The panel would be the hardest part to ship, but could still go UPS I think.

My interior is gray too. It's all boxed up and in the barn, but I can try and get you pics if you're interested. I'm wondering if your truck has the child seat anchor point behind the panel?

Thank you Jere, I was thinking it might fit, but didn't know it would be that tight. Don't think it would be worth buying the seats if a car seat wouldn't fit.

I did the swap a couple of years back. Found someone that had the delete setup and met them to trade stuff. Not hard to do at all.

What was your reasoning for the delete? Is there really that much more usable room compared to the seats folded up?

I have a 2014 access sport, good condition, if still needed. I’m willing to ship since I don’t think you’re local.

same experience, it is SUPER tight. we tried 3 different models and could only get one in with the front seat jammed all the way forwards with the back at like 90 degrees. i would see if you can find someone locally to try it out but it would suck to go through all this and it not fit.

I knew I would never have a person large or small back there so the extra space was good to have. Without the seats there is a good bit more usable space back there. Also I don't have to worry about damaging the seats if they are not there.

Ok, so here's the deal... expecting, means BABY, which means BACKWARDS FACING baby seat.
    The ONLY spot in the back seat that you can fit a backwards facing baby seat is in the middle, and there are two problems with that;
    1) OEM does NOT provide a seat in the middle.
    2) The angle and height of the OEM seats is wrong for a backwards facing baby seat, even if they did provide a middle seat.

What that means is that you are going to have to do some fabrication to make this work!

There are two bolt holes through the body for mounting the "inside" seat belt halves. Get yourself a piece of 1.5x1.5 angle steel, and drill it to match the seat belt bolts. Get yourself a couple of chain links and WELD to the ends of the steel. Bolt it all together. Those chain links will now be your "latch" mounts.

Get yourself a piece of 2x6 cut about 2 feet long. It fits between the back wall and the newly installed latch bracket.

Get yourself a piece of 2x10 cut about 2 feet long (you will have to think the measurements through to make this all fit correctly), and screw one end of it down into the 2x6. The 2x10 is going to be the "seat" that the baby seat BASE is going to attach to.

Get yourself another piece of 2x6. It goes from the floor up to the front of the 2x10. Screw them together.

Next... new mom is going to want to sit beside the baby for the first few times in the car, because she's going to be freaking out continuously, 'cause hormones. You will want the OEM seat on the PASSENGER side for HER to sit on. You're going to flip the front passenger seat down and forward while she's riding back there.

+1 some (most?) baby seats won’t fit in the jump seats.

I’ve read by removing the head rests you gain some space, and a few can fit. Haven’t tried myself.

You can fit some (but not all) front facing CHILD seats in the standard positions. But you won't be messing with these until the child is at least a year old.
I fit THREE kids in the back seat of mine.
    Back facing 8 month old,
Front facing 3 year old (driver's side),
Straight on the seat 5 year old.

You may wish to consider trading out of the access cab into a double cab or (I know I am speaking sin) another model vehicle.

    Why?
Kids fit fine. You just have to use your brain in picking the seats and setting it up.

Rear facing child seat , in a AC, good luck with that man. May want to start looking into a DC.
