2015 AMA Supercross Thread

A1 was a great season opener and there are some hungry guys out there thats for sure!! Hope the rest of the season is this good minus all the injuries.

I really want to pull for Tomac.I came up in mountain biking in the 90's idolizing his dad. He has the skill - but he seems unable to put an entire race together in the 450's. IT reminds me a lot of bubba - can run really well for 3/4th of a race than has some brainfart and stuffs it in the corner too hot. He didn't get much of a rookie season last year, so we'll see if he settles down.

Roczen looked good on the new bike.

will be interesting to see how well Davi comes back.

 

I'd like to see Jason Anderson do well only guy rocking the Husqvarna bike should bring them some good publicity and i liked seeing him do well on the 250s I think he'll be a solid contender

 

Wasnt there a couple more riders on Husqy's? I thought I saw more but maybe I'm wrong. I'm still up in the air on who I want to see crowned champion in both the 250E+W and 450 classes. After a few more races then I might know haha.

 

Might have been more Jason Anderson is the only one I know of though and same here but im leaning towards Roczen, Anderson and Canard for the 450 class

 

I'd like to see Canard take a title cause hes just had a sad past few years. Roczen will def be a title contender thats for sure. I wish JS7 was racing.

 

I think Roczen is class dude when racing. Anderson is dirty. Some may call it aggressive, but there is a fine line and I think Anderson doesn't have any problem crossing it.

 

Alessi had nobody at his autograph signing session in the pits. So my son went up to him and said "Hey Alessi, No lasers tonight, Ok?" He got so pissed. It was hilarious.

 

Don't get me started on Alessi and Barcia

 

i like the excitement anderson brings to races. No one else really rides like him so it's nice to see something a little different.

im not looking forward to the east coast 250 series and the announcers saying 'leg swag' every other minute...thanks Bogle

 

While I do find this mildly amusing it's a kinda F'd up thing to say... I'm no fan of Alessi, his brother, or their past actions, but give the dude a break, he's just trying to make a living.

 

He deserves it all. i know he's trying to make a living but so is everyone else in that sport. After atlanta last year with tickle, that guy has it coming for him big time.

 

Agreed. That's why we gave it to him.

 

I like andersons style.

I hope canard has a good year, I think he deserves it. Just needs to stay healthy

 

You know I like a little bit of pushing and shoving but deliberately running a guy off the track just isnt cool but then again who am I to say since I dont race with the AMA or FIM haha.

There was some outstanding racing in Phoenix tonite! I love how stacked the field is this year, there is any number of guys that are capable of getting on the podium. I'm bummed Canard didn't do too well in the Main but it was cool to see Tomac take care of business. And as usual good to see Roczen and Dungey podium as well...
