A friend of mine has a 2016 Taco and it has the seemingly identical base entune system, except for one feature: Siri Eyes Free. Definitely doesn't work on my 2015 ☹️

As an IT guy this seems like it should be a simple firmware update, but calls to Toyota support and a local dealership indicate there aren't any software updates for the 2015 base entune.

Don't get me wrong, calls and music currently work great and I have zero need for built in nav or apps, but I'd love to be able to hit a button on the steering wheel and say "what time does the hamburger wagon open" or "what time is my meeting with Jeff" and get an answer without fishing my phone out of my backpack.

Not trying to start an iPhone vs Android fight, but can anyone with an Android elaborate on what features work and don't work on the 2015 base Entune? More importantly will holding a button initiate the hands free assistant on the phone?
