I had a '90 reg cab, '04 AC OR and currently have a '15 DCSB OR.
The '90 was great. It was a manual transmission, 4 cylinder with brush and grill guards, step bars and in bed roll/light bar. It was a beast off road and in t the snow. It eventually succumbed to rust.
The '04 was a nice upgrade from the '90. Auto transmission, 6 cylinder, much more interior space and comfort. I had very few problems.
My '15 is an even nicer upgrade from the '04. Much more comfortable. I love the 4.0. No issues as of yet. I am somewhat bias but I do believe the '15 looks the best of the three I have owned.
I do not have any experience with the third generation but purposely bought a '15 because I did not like the way newer generation looked and I was a bit leary of the power train.

I get "No HD Signal Available" 90% of the time I try to check it... the nearest they have to my hometown is about 20 miles away. Unbelievably dumb

I think you folks are right, the truck you have is the best.

I have a 17 sport manual trans and think it's the best, had an 09 that was the best, and started in a 95 that I loved, all manual trans. I think the 3rd gen would have all the praise if the kept the same motor and transmissions cause the 3rd gen looks great.

Had my 2015 for about 21 months now and have 29,000 miles on it. I love the smooth drivetrain and the overall fit and finish. I get consistently 20 mph on every tank.

My 2015 is not perfect but I don't think there is anything better out there!

Sorry gotta disagree on the 04's they have a known throttle body issue that the 03 and earlier trucks don't have...

So far my 2012 has been problem free with the air injection but when the time comes I will just go the Hewitt route and never worry about it again. Either way the air injection system is just another future problem for any truck that's equipped with it as it just adds another level of complexity. It's obvious that some years are better than others but you can still get a lemon any year but being a Toyota that's not likely!;)

I was going to pull the trigger in 2014 and wish I did because I would have the clock, 2015 rolled around and I saw the specs for the 2016 V6 and promptly ordered a 2015 and am overall very happy.

There's only 2 great trucks out there. The one you had, and the one you're going to get.

The dash clock is irrelevant to me. I have plenty of time telling devices and I don't need one more showing me how late I am for work...

Love my '15. Althouch I'm willing to bet I'd most likely love any year I had. It's not there yet, but it may eventually pass my '02 Tundra as my favorite new vehicle purchase.

The only gripe on my 15 is the engine braking. Get off the go pedal and the engine braking seems strong. Something I'm not used too. More so when the ac is on...maybe it's just me.

You can get your temp back, depending on how you have your Entune home page setup

How hard is it to wire up the clock in a 2015?
