Subbed in hopes of getting an awning.

I bought my Mt. Rainier last year. I haven't had a change to use it too often but love it nevertheless. Bobby is a great guy but had some unfortunate bad press because of the issues people had during the group buy last year. Too many people got a hold of the discount code and too many orders were placed. I will still gladly buy from him again.

Behind the scenes info, little bit about this great big world we live in.

As most of you know, these tents come from China. Chinese are real serious about their lunar new year celebration. It's like a month long thing.

That being said, and overwhelming popularity of the group buy that was more than anticipated. It lead to short supply. It lead to manufacturing delays.

A snow ball turned into a avalanche. In the end after a few delays I think everyone got what they ordered and still saved a few bucks.

I will continue to support Bobby and CVT. Although I was going to buy a CVT 99"awning. ....I couldn't resist a smittybuilt one with free prime shipping and clicked away at $165.

I was in on the GB last year and dealt with all the delays and uncertainty. It was very unfortunate, but Bobby has gone out of his way to make sure everything was made right. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again or recommend CVT to other members. And the Mt. Shasta is awesome!!

Just called them today and they said they were sorting out the group buy. I am in for either the Mt. Cayley or Mt. Bailey depending on price!

Im super interested as well. Being in University any discount offered would really help. I also live in Canada. Anyone who was involved in the group buy last year have any recommendations for this group buy? Ship to Pt.Roberts perhaps and spend a few nights in the tent and try and bring it back across?

CG250 Let me know if you do go through with this and maybe we could work something out for both of us. I'm on the island and we could potentially combine shipping and save some cash.
