I've had my truck for a few months but I drive my 03' during the week for work so the learning curve for my new truck has been a little slower.
I have the satellite radio without Nav - I connected my phone but I couldn't really get used to it cuz I'm not using it on a daily basis so I disconnected it.

I would really appreciate any tips if there's any features that you guys could recommend or things that you might not have discovered immediately.
For example: I just discovered that the rear head rests fold forward for a better view out the rear windows. Another thing that I discovered is that the shark fin for the Nav comes in handy if you're looking to clip your garage door while you're backing in :(

If you remove the rear head rests and fold the rear seats forward while laying the back rests down it makes a platform.

Yes, I figured that one out when my door ding guy came to drop the back half of my headliner, when we replaced my shark fin.
I almost had a heart attack when I found out that the 2015 shark fin is $400, aside from the cosmetic scratches mine was still working fine so I ordered a 2012 shark fin for $50 and just swapped out the cover..

Did you swap wheels and grill with an off-road? Or is that not really a sport?

Yeah, the rear bumper too, that was the first thing I did cuz I was looking for a base model but I just couldn't pass up on this Sport cuz it was so clean and it only had a little over 12K miles.
I'm planning on swapping out the hood too, no offense if you have the hood scoop but I personally think it looks a lot cleaner without it.

Sometimes people don't notice the storage behind/under the seats. The Tacoma is relatively straightforward in terms of hidden features/things that you wouldn't really notice.

What about the radio, does anybody use or find the apps useful ?
I was a little disappointed that my truck doesn't have GPS, I thought it was standard in newer cars.

No the apps (radio) is pretty useless but then again I want carplay. I love my truck but the bells and whistles part not so much for a new truck. God help me but the 16's and 17's are better for that and
    Fords are better than those.
