I just got a quote on a 15 dcsb 4x4 sport super white for $1700 under invoice. Dealer fee is $395. Anyone else having the same luck? They had 30 dc's on the lot so I guess they're ready to deal.

Sounds like a good deal.what is the sticker price and what are they offering it to you for? I looked at an Access cab today,4 cal. They only would take $1200 of sticker.

Welcome to TW! Are you framiliar with the differences between the sport and off road? The off road has all the traction systems like the rear locker, ATRAC off road traction control, down hill decent control, hill start assist, upgraded electronically controlled brakes ect. The sport has a fake scoop and color matched bumper. If you plan on getting into off roading the Off Road is a better buy. Just making sure you are making an informed purchase,

Sticker is 33650, my quote is 29984. Thanks crashnburn, yes I know most of the differences between the two models. I don't get off road much and the extra options would go unused by me. It'll be a commuter mostly, but I see a lot of snow so the 4wd is a must for me. I've been a lurker here for years, and have followed the 3rd gen board til I made my decision to go with the 15. This will be my third tacoma, currently driving an 02 TRD same model as what I'm buying today. I've put about 300k on the first two and hoping this one holds up the same. Looking forward to the bigger motor and cab mostly.

That's a great deal. I thought I did well to get my '15 OR for 31K and change.

I just picked up a Barcelona Red DCSB Sport for 31k and change too. Though it was a good deal too and I love it. Not really sold on the 2016 in the looks department. It has a towing package, running boards and got a bed extender too. Bought it AT Herb Chambers in Auburn MA.

I might have to make the 4 hour trip to Auburn,Mass. Herb Chambers has the same truck I looked at,same MSRP for $2026 off the sticker. I would make the trip to save a grand. I'd have to settle for white over red,but I could live with it.

Invoice isn't the same as dealer cost.

The dealer fee is pure profit added back on.

The missing link is knowledge if (or more likely how much) Toyota has a hidden rebate available to clear the lots, very common for this time of year.

Yes, of course they need profit to stay in business. Just don't think some salesman's kid is going hungry because of the deal you got.

You used the term 'I just got a quote'. Was that fairly effortless? Little negotiation? Yes? Make an offer another $2k less and see what happens.

If you're willing to go to Boston then try prime Toyota of Boston. Great guys, my neighbor and I got really good deals on our trd sports, and they put up with me ordering a manual and a bunch of parts before it came in

The quote took a while. However, my 02 dcsb is already sold, I'm paying cash, and they have 30 dcsb's in stock, all 2015's. I have a relative that's a purchaser for a large Toyota dealership in Va and he said to take the deal.

That is a good price, a hell of a lot better deal than you would have got on a 2016. Having said that, the dealer is still making a good profit on the sale of the 2015.

I was interested in a DCSB Off-road in Pyrite and I got the "e-price" on it. I knew they had a red one too so I told him I would take red too. He arrived in a Sport, with a sticker of 34,700. I liked it, I prefer the color matched bumpers anyway. I said I'd be interested as long as it was the same price as the e-price on the other one. He ended up taking the 3K off the sticker price. I was happy with that. I battled with them on my POS Altima trade-in for a bit and got close to what I wanted. Overall I'm super happy with the truck and feel I got a pretty good deal.

As others mentioned that is a good price for the truck.

I also upgraded from an 03 DC, the extra room is nice. Going from the 4spd auto to a 5spd auto is a huge improvement in drivability. All round the truck is nicer as a daily driver, you won't be disappointed.

I'm trying to make a deal on an Access Cab, 4wd,2.7 auto with SR5 package. $29,405 is the sticker.I've found the same truck in whit and red and two different dealers. I prefer the red but I can live with the white for the right price. I feel they should take at least $2500 off the sticker price maybe even $3000.
From what i have seen the V6 trucks sell much more that the I4.
I also have my extremely nice condition 2011 Ranger to trade. If i can't get close to what I want I'll just keep the Ranger.nothing wrong with it I just want something a little bigger.

What they said. Just ordered a 2015 DC LB 4x4 SR5 last week. You can try waiting a bit for more rebate, but choices may be limited. Not to mention that a 2016 would have been like $3k more in my case, considering the lack of rebate and higher interest rate, and I don't want to be the guinea pig...

I took the deal for $1700 under invoice and picked up my new truck tonight. I'm thrilled with the new sport and can't believe how small the 02 was compared to this one. The bells and whistles are nice, but the added HP is what I notice the most. Thanks for your help folks.
