Hello all I have a 2015 Tacoma 2.7 4x4 SR model. The SR model is a rare model. I bought these http://www.spyderauto.com/product.php?id=FL-CL-TTA2012-SM&t=spyder I don't think my truck is pre wired. I can't figure out what to mount the housings of the fog lights to? Am I missing something? There are 4 mounting points on each of the fog housings. I can't find much information or videos on an install. I have all the wiring and everything else that's in the link. Thank you.

I'm looking to install fogs on my SR as well. Just started researching minutes ago and found the Spyder brand as well.
Those look like they will replace the blanks in your bumper and mount the same as the blanks, also what I'd like to do, but I'll cut the blanks if needed. You probably aren't pre-wired, gonna check mine when the rain quits today/tomorrow, and I'll get back with you.
I imagine running the wiring would be close to the same path of the headlights, at least that's what I would try first. As for the switch, I'm gonna have to see what's coming through the left side of the dash and trace through the firewall into the engine bay.

    Good luck man!

I haven't yet had time to look into the light situation as I've been busy plus it's getting cold up this way. If you Have found any new info on this situation that would much appreciated. It's hard to find any info on our trucks as there isn't very many of them. The plastic blanks that came with the lights don't seem to have a place to mount the light housing too. The blanks on the truck don't look like they have any spot to mount the lights either. That's why I'm confused? I tried looking on YouTube for a video of a light install and had no luck. Thanks

The Spyder fogs look like they come preassembled into the housing. I'll assume yours aren't by what you just said.
If that's the case, there should be tabs that could clip onto the housing, providing a screw point to attach the light housing. Maybe?

It looks like you have everything you'll need. I have a PreRunner 4cyl that also did not come pre-wired. You'll need to wire the power directly to the positive terminal of your battery and then ground the other to the frame of the truck (I did mine right next to battery; there's a nice hole for it). I then ran the switch line and remote line into the firewall and used a mini fuse adapter like this https://www.delcity.net/store/Mini-...CYhITc-Mhky7RM6qnbkTl9vqKH9m6YWjkbhoCXNPw_wcB
under the dash with the parking brake (so that both parking lighs and fogs come on at same time). I do not remember which fuse exactly it was, but if you have your manual, it will tell you.

PM if you have more questions.

After re-reading your post, I see your question about the housing.
You have the whole assembly there. Simply remove some bolts in the wheel well to then access underneath the bumper where the fogs are and place the lights in place after you remove the blanks.

Believe he's more worried about getting the actual light into the black housings at this point. As am I when I buy this kit

Yeah that's the part that is confusing me the most. It doesn't seem to fit right unless I'm doing something wrong.

I want to install fogs in my SR too. Did you get it to work with the spyder parts? It looks simple but I don't want to waste my money or fuck something up.

The set he listed would work fine since it comes with all the wiring needed. The only thing he and you would need to do with that set is to tap into another fuse somewhere underneath the dash. This is where the multifuse option can be used. I tapped into parking breaks line for mine. PM if you need more clarification.

Also for the actual fog housing install there are 2 screws holding in each blank. Once you remove those 2 screws the blank can be removed. When you go to install the fog light housings there are 2 slots on the inner side of the truck that you just slide the housings into(they require no screws). Once it's in those slots take the 2 screws you removed earlier and install both screws into both outer screw holes. I haven't done the wiring yet because I don't trust myself going through the firewall lol. So I'll probably be taking it to a mechanic. Thanks I hope this helps you.
