I never understood why they just didn't do the full roll down rear window...or do they on other models?

I like the tundras full roll down window, but it would suck having to have it all the way down every time you wanted to carry a long item sticking thorough there. Especially in the rain or when it's cold. And that new ford glass seems dumb, too -- anything you slide through there is going to be resting on a glass edge, not a window frame. I'll keep my simple tacoma window, thanks. Sometimes simple is just better.

Tundra's slide-down window takes up extra room in the rear "firewall", so no storage space behind rear seatbacks:

^Then you realize Ford sells 600,000+ of these trucks per year and still isn't that profitable...

:notsure: Guess I've just never seen it. I owned a Frontier once upon a time and I have never honestly given a good look at the Titans. It very well could.

We have no storage back there as is :(
I store stuff under the seats...my Tundra DC had some nice storage compartments...my CM? Not so much...but I do get the extra space in the back, so it's a tradeoff.

Looks like the whole rear window doesn't move, just has an enormous slider that does like 2/3 width. My bad

What the real thing looks like. Significantly weight reduction thanks to both the aluminum body and switch to 3.5L Ecoboost (with more boost than existing 3.5L Ecoboost)
