While I agree you get more info, there is simply no substitute for the energy/feeling of watching it live. I got to watch the one in '13 live (last year of naturally aspirated) and the feeling you get in your chest as they passed...nothing like it. That being said, thank God for DVR.

I honestly think Rosberg straight up outdrove Lewis, although Lewis may have eased off in turn 1 just a wee tad. I've been saying it a lot but every week it seems worthy of repeat - wtf was Ferrari thinking when the re-signed Kimi. Vettel had a bad hair day, and Massa didn't seem terribly enthused about passing those RBs. Alonso, sigh.

I think McLaren is right in the hunt in the chassis department. I think Honda's hands are tied by the development and testing regs. David Hobbs pointed out that, back in the 60's when Richie Ginther won the Mexican GP for Honda, they could just throw out an unsuccessful motor and throw a new one in anytime they felt like it. F1 is a very different beast these days. But don't count Honda out; they have a heck of an engineering staff, and they're persistent.

 

There has got to be a fail to perform clause for Kimi and Ferrari should let him go and get somebody better who can learn from Vettel as a teammate as well as perform consistantly. If only it was Alanso and Vettel

No I don't , thats why I don't think a budget cap can work either

 

I don't understand the premise of a budget cap , let the teams spend whatever they want , they're doing that now anyway . There will always be big teams and small teams with corresponding budgets , the problem in my opinion is the way the money is shared , the big teams are getting extra dough beyond an equitable share based on the Constructors placing , fix that and the midfield teams can compete
