    Have i ever mentioned adjusting or eliminating the fuel flow rate restrictions on the current setup? There is your 1000bhp monster.

    The tech trickles down to road cars , they don't bolt F1 tech onto road cars . That's the point , small displacement combustion engines , direct injection , turbocharger , hybrid technologies and fuel savings strategies are all relevant to current and future road cars , massive displacement naturally aspirated V8-12's have no current relevance outside of supercars

    Sadly. I already miss the 1990's - 2000's engine wars.

    Honda is trying to use their high-revving-but-torque-free engine wizardry in a hybrid. Ain't working. Plus they don't seem to be able to find the handle on the technology. But if you think a Honda hybrid is like the current F1 power source you are wildly mistaken. Think Porsche 918, not Prius (although Toyota does have some cool tech in there). As for getting over mountain passes - give me a turbocharged motor any day.
    I'm rooting for them too.
