    Guys,
This may be a stupid question, but I'm wondering if a GEN2 TRD Performance Exhaust will bolt up on a GEN3? I just bought a 2016 TRD DCSB Sport and my dealer is wanting $859 for the TRD Exhaust. I can't even find it online yet, but I have found new GEN2 TRD Exhaust for $399. I only ask this because from everything I've read the chassis is pretty much identical and it sounds like a lot of the parts are interchangeable. Thanks

Someone on YouTube transferred a MBRP from a 2nd gen to a third and it required some modification, I don't remember how much though.

Ya I saw someone put a 2nd gen TRD exhaust on. The 2nd Gen was supposedly a few inches longer on the cab side, he cut the extra off and welded on a new end and bolted right up. An exhaust shop should have no real problems with it if that info was correct. All the hangers were even in the right spot I believe

Thanks for the input. I just spoke with a super nice guy (Ryan) at Elmore Toyota aka TRDPerformanceParts.com and he will send me a new 15' TRD Performance Exhaust for $390. He said he can't guarantee the fitment nor can he warranty it since I'm installing it on a 2016. To be safe, I called a local Exhaust Shop and they said if the pipe is a little long that they can modify it to work. They felt pretty comfortable making it work for $75. So $465 all in doesn't sound bad to me and Ryan said they 2016 Exhaust isn't even showing as available in inventory yet. I'll post pics and describe what modifications were done if any to make it work. I would like be to actually hear from someone who's already done this.

Awesome. Ya let us know how it goes. The 2016 pipe showed to be about double the price so I think it's worth the little extra work.
