Has anyone in their 2nd generation tacoma has installed an HID kit?
I am looking at investing on one, to convert my projector lights to projector HID?
My homeboy told me to be legal I need the 6000k kind. He says it will give off that blue look to them.
Give me some feed back and pictures if yiu have them Taco family!

    Nah, it's a thing.

You'll get 20 posts here by tomorrow saying to do a proper retrofit and don't get HIDs in your halogen housings.

    Which is true.

Then 2 guys will say they have HIDs in their halogen housings and they're great.

Then everyone will tell those 2 guys what's up, and they'll debate it for 6 pages.

I would suggest not running HIDs without projector housings. There are better solutions if more light is what you want.

    Gotcha. Then go nuts.

I'd go with something under 5300k.

More than that and they are actually less bright.
