hey guys the local dealership has an Inferno TRD Pro 6 speed manual with 60k on the clock. I test drove it today and feels amazing looks amazing and they’re asking 29k. Nada Black Book puts it at 27450 so I’m seriously thinking about pulling the trigger.

Do you have any recommendations on anything to look for?

I peaked underneath and I saw no rust or dents and there is no pin striping from narrow trails. The previous owner traded it in for a diesel Colorado.

I’d try haggling like hell....cuz that’s what I do. Personally I think it’s priced a little high with that many miles but honestly if they did not budge I’d jump on it.

It’s like my truck......a unicorn. In early 15 I had a line on a brand new inferno TRD Pro 4Runner at 42k in indy. Just before I went to buy it I found my Baja gently used in Iowa. I was forced to choose.......I picked the 6 spd unicorn.

I bought my 15 brand new at a local dealer at the end of the year. All the new 3rd gens were lined up looking shiny. There was four remaining 2nd gens at the end of the row. 2 ACs and 2 DCLBs.

There was no negotiating LOL, they knew and i knew that all 4 of those trucks would be gone in 48 hrs.

Yea i walked away from a loaded 2011 AC trd OR 6 speed to get an automatic and more space. I miss that OR big time. No smog pump clutter at the ex manifolds, electroboost brakes/trac control, nice seats that are kinda rare, etc ...

I think the only thing I’d miss is the technology of the 3rd gen

It’s the Baja pkg, which is what Toyota made before they had the pro. From 12-14.

No, these weren’t as pimped out as the pros, with the interiors. The suspensions were basically the same.
