    Hi All,

I have been browsing the forums for a while as I just picked up a 2015 MGM DCLB Limited. I was planning on going with the sport but got a good deal on the Limited. Anyways I have an issue with the stereo.

The stereo literally hurts my ears. I am not blasting the stereo either BTW, keeping it around 25-30 max. I have messed with the HU equalizer along with the equalizer on my phone and its not helping. I have narrowed the problem down to the tweeters (the small speakers on the top of door panel). If I put tape over them it sounds much better and my ears don't hurt!

I may try simply unplugging it but for now, my questions to the forum are:

    1. Is there any type of foam or something I can put behind the door panel to mute the speaker a little bit?

    2. Is there any plug and play after market speaker I can put in there that sounds better?

    3. Is there any solution other than putting a new stereo system in the car to get the thing sounding decent?

I love the truck, only thing is this stereo. Thanks for the help.
