Depends on your budget . I have a DCLB and I have the OME lift with 885's and Dakars , I'm happy with the lift but I have rake , you would want to add top plate spacers or go to the 887 coils up front in order to level with the full Dakar pack or you can go 885's and remove a leaf and / or the top overload from the Dakars .

You could also go to another front set up like Icons instead

If you tow and you like to drive in the mountains and stuff like that I would suggest coilovers anyways. Then again I'm just biased. The huge advantage to them is that they are rebuildable so you virtually never have to throw them away. Unlike OME's.

Oz, did you change your UCA's with your setup? Differential drop? I've been researching your setup for my 2015 DCSB for a while now, but I'm still undecided. Also did you have any problems with getting proper alignment?

Hello, I'm also a newbie on here and have had my 15 about two months. I ran into the same issue on the OME lift. The rear shocks have changed and the redesign is being throughly tested before its release. At least this is what a local well known ARB dealer has told me.

For me I'm just doing a few easier mods on my truck until these lifts are released. I'll get some use out of the stock tires and save a few extra $ that the boss doesn't know about. Lol

Why not go with firestone airbags and AAL to lift the rear. Your ride will be great unloaded and you can just add some air when you tow the boat.

    Oz,
The guy told me the mounts have changed just slightly.

OME will not warranty the rear shocks until testing is complete. .

That's the route i was planning on going anyhow. But figured i would upgrade my shocks to the OME when I purchase everything else.

I'll hold out for the correct items.

i will suggest fox adjustable coilovers up front, about $100 more than ome and will ride smoother and won't top out and bang like the ome's do sometimes. now i'm not bashing or putting down the ome stuff, i liked it but feel the fox is nicer. the ome dakars are pretty nice, with a cap and on my reg cab they rode pretty smooth paired with some skyjacker rear shocks.

if you want to be sure about this supposed change that arb is telling you about i suggest you go to a parts store or even a toyota parts counter and ask for a 2013 & a 2015 rear shock, so you can compare them yourself. if toyota tells you they are the same part then you know what's up.

I got the same story from ARB today, i.e., the 2014-15 design change in rear spring/shock configuration. Installed a 200 lb Snugtop Highliner (on 2015 TRD Off Road, Access Cab), which dropped the rear wheel wells 3/4 inch. Now the factory leafs are nearly bottomed out on the overloads, i.e., with no weight other than the cap. So I'm scouring the blogs and ads looking for the best way to gain about 1.5" (cap on) w/o spoiling my ride. We do back country car-camping and sometimes tow a boat, but no serious off-roading. Chuckholes and washboard are common. Skyjacker Softride "sound" good, and there are some attractive sounding 3 leaf progressive aal's, such as Toytec, but recommendations are all over the board.

A post in another leaf spring-related thread (with video clip of a guy flattening a Deaver by jumping on it) referred to "National Spring Company." Their web site sounds great, but so far, I haven't found any others posts discussing National. Is there a thread I'm not seeing? Getting discouraged from all the negativity around Deaver, Alcan and Dakar. And apparently, neither ARB nor Skyjacker has yet a pack available for 2015.

Hey guys, a member at expedition portal had this issue with his 2015 and OME kit.
The rear shock mounts were rotated further under the axle. The shock body contacted the axle when the suspension was drooped and bound up. This owner purchased icon shocks with the shafts downward and it wasn't a problem.

The other option would be to remove and reweld the shock mounts. For what it's worth, he said the rear icons felt a lot better than the from OME shocks he had installed.
