Just starting my Overland rig

has anyone pulled the SD card out of the factory nav and swapped in the fun treks card. I have the cards for Colorado and Utah. I was using a stand alone Garmin GPS in my FJ. Now that I have a taco with factory nav it would be nice to just swap cards and not have the stand alone GPS mounted to the window. I dont want to pull the card if it is going to screw up the factory nav system.
