I don't look long-term at championships or winning seasons. I want to see a good, close matchup. I'm not committed enough and I don't owe it to any colleges or the NCAA to invest my time and money. On the rare occasion I tune in, I simply want to see a good game. I don't memorize players, stats, famous plays, team lore, etc. I tend to pull for some SEC teams over others and usually SEC teams over most anyone else because of regional allegiance. I usually pick the team with the best uniforms or sparkly helmets, unless they have an unethical coach or a team comprised of accused rapists and abusers.
I keep up with UGA because I live here. I applaud teams when they beat UGA because the Dawgs are a consistently good team. They might not have a hall full of BCS trophies, but they are always a formidable foe. They will always be a tough team to play unless you catch them on a rare off day. They've faced a lot of nasty injuries over the last decade and those losses take a hit on player morale as the season progresses. You might tar and feather me for it but my feelings are "come on guys, at the core, it's just a bunch of kids playing a game."

The last 8 or so minutes of fame time everyone around me was basically just mosh pitting and going wild it was a hell of time.

What the fuck does that even mean?
I want Texas to win every game they play. And I don't give a fuck what ou does as long as they lose the shootout.

I'm not sure you understand what I am trying to say.

You want to beat teams that are beating teams, not ones that are being beaten.

Chubb has a torn PCL and 2 other ligaments, according to his mom. Richt will clarify later. Could be looking at surgery in 2 weeks.

Still not as bad as it could have been.

    I understand your weird logic.
I'm saying I don't give a fuck what anyone else does. I care about Longhorn football and I want them to win every game. I don't care a damn if ou never wins another game.

    It is not weird logic.

If the teams we play are winning games (against other opponents) consistently (which is good for them)
and we, in turn, can win against them, it is better for us.

You don't understand and that is ok. All you can say is " Texas, Texas, Texas, Longhorns, blah blah blah."

You need to look at the bigger picture. Who is ahead, and who is winning that you are about to play.

However you choose to spin it, pulling for a team you hate to win is dumb.
