    -- Ohio State vs. the Big 12 would draw a lot of eyes, as the conference that was bumped from the playoff in favor of the Buckeyes last year would get its chance. That could be either Baylor or TCU - Baylor earned this No. 4 spot by just a single point over No. 5 TCU. They will get a chance to settle that Big 12 question on the field on Nov. 27.

    -- Clemsonjumped back into our pairings after dropping out for a week after beatdown of Miami that cost Hurricanes coach Al Golden his job. Those Tigers received two first-place votes, while LSU and TCU each got one.
