I just think it's our staff not being able to develope them and not to bring a killer instinct. I've seen a lot of our guys to be good not great then go to the next level and turn into the superstars we thought they'd be.

According to 92.9 yesterday if you go you're showing support for Richt and if you want him gone don't go.

Oh Richt is feeling more pressure right now than ever. Idk how they get these numbers but the radio show was saying about 35 percent of the stadium will be empty Saturday and that is sending a statement.

 

It's called scouting...coaches analyze a player's skill-sets and talent. Then they must determine how their abilities will fare on the next level, and how coachable a player is. Many 3 stars are recruited bc a coach sees something in them. Not sure what is asinine about that.

 

CFP rankings posted. I feel like a few points in the rankings they were like:"hey, we've got these teams that we have to put in here. Let's just put them here!"

That's what happens when teams who are supposed to win and be ranked *cough* auburn and UGA *cough* lose and aren't.

 

I don't know about that, but I turned them down anyway because I didn't want to sit in the rain for 3 hours while I watch Kentucky beat us.

Could have left early and hit the bars and found some college strange.

 

What you guys think about Kirby Smart making the move to UGA for the HC job?

 

If that happens SEC schools are going to hire Saban to train coaches for them. Wait...he does it for free to them.

 

And the 9-10 wins we have every year are usually teams we should beat. Rarely ever a big signature win. Even if we were to win out this year what would be a big win? We've lost the only big games we've had.

I'm not saying I'm against Smart but I'd rather have someone proven with HC experience like the Houston or Memphis coaches.

I've heard he's has and also 3 other schools. But have also heard his dad said he's going to UGA regardless if Richt stays or not. Who the the hell knows?

This is the college football thread and we're not talking about the first ranking of the playoff committee?

Looks like some SEC bias, but what else is new? There were THREE teams in the first ranking last year, and NONE of them made it into the playoffs.

Obviously Alabama and La State play each other this Saturday, but what happens if Alabama wins by 3 points late? Both teams will have 1 loss, and La State will be just about as strong as they were before... could the both stay at/near the top 4??


Also, can I say that it's hilarious that the committee called the auburn win a 'quality win' for La State?

And finally, the committee seems to have set up the greatest Clemsoning of all time....
