    Expand on your idea that 8 teams are too many. Whether people would watch or not is a moot point as well...

    I am NOT incorrect, as the AP and Coaches poll is exactly what influences rankings for the first few weeks. I don't much care about what Jeff Long tells the media...We all know crazy shit happens behind closed doors.
    If they use computers to pull the data, and use that data for anything, then they have weight. Period.

    as crappy a year as it seems georgia has had, they are prolly gonna finish the year with 10 wins and 2 of their 3 losses are to top 10 teams, mind blowing to me since it seems they have done exceptionally terrible at times this year.

    Pretty much the same story every year. In the past it's been our D that was to blame, now we have a pretty good defense and our offense sucks donkey balls. But this is how Richt survives. He will have that stretch of bad games then finish strong enough to keep the fans happy with his coaching. Everyone starts talking about 9-10 wins so he should stay. For me it's nice to have those wins, don't get me wrong but it's about who you beat, or rather who you don't beat, and we always lose to the high ranked teams.

    He's staying anyway. He could lose all 3 of those games and still stay because the president and AD love him.

    He even made a trip to Washington to talk to Eason (next year's QB) as soon as the auburn game was over Saturday. He says it was just to visit with him, but anyone with a brain can tell it was to make sure he knew he was still going to be there next year.

    Its a good read, and nice to see it from the other side. My theory is this: if you win a lot of games, lose very few on a consistent basis, and play in the power 5 with a conference championship, and win that...you are most likely playing for national championships in the modern era. OK ST is a great team, I hope they get in it, as long as they don't beat Bama :)
