Not a dig at all... complete truth. No program is immune from being a dumpster fire.

He tied for an SEC title in '89. He didn't win a NC.

I know this is the college thread, but want to send a shout-out to a couple of kids from my alma mater...

Julio Jones with that freakish touchdown catch/run to help the Falcons end the Panthers' undefeated run.

and AJ McCarron is kicking ass and taking names in the MNF game so far tonight.

    Roll Tide, guys.

AJ sorta disappeared in the 2nd half. Not terrible, but he wasn't lighting people up like he did on the first two/three drives.

OT now, though... Opportunity to shine, assuming they get the ball.

Everyone kept saying what a "great" or "incredible" catch it was...I even saw someone call it the catch of the year. I don't see anything special about it. He out jumped a shorter, much whiter linebacker, after the safety fell down. Seemed like a really routine play for a WR to me :notsure:

He looked decent the first half. I think he hurt his hand on the last play.

Agreed. I think it was just over-hyped because the Falcons suck and the Panthers were undefeated...I did love how Julio mocked Scam Newton with his TD celebration though. I hate Scam Newton

I'm too busy trying to find a spot on my wall to hang the picture of Kirby with the National Championship trophy over his head.

Thomas Davis, AJ green, Justin Houston, Geno Atkins and Todd Gurley (3rd leading rusher in the NFL, despite missing 2 games and having 9 carries or less in 3 games) all made the pro bowl. Tied with LSU with 5 pro bowlers.
