    I don't see him coming to UGA. I know he's from Myrtle Beach, which is why SCAR and UGA are in the mix. Honestly, if he wants to win, one would assume he would choose UGA over a rebuilding SCAR team. He's a better QB than what we have on the roster, but I don't think he would really fit the UGA system.

    That's something we don't need. Kind of reminds me of a DJ Shockley. Can do some good things on the field, but he could give the ball to the other team on every play, too.

    I know if he goes to an SEC school, the school would have to apply for a waiver for him to play this year because he was suspended for a year. Don't know if it was in that article or not. Didn't read it.

    AND we all know what happened when he played Alabama in the Championship game...

    It just seems like a perfect fit from his point of veiw to come here though. It's close to home for him, our QB position is up in the air, we need a 1 yr QB, he has 1 yr left, and with a legit (not saying he is just that he thinks he is) we could be a serious contender. The down side though aside from his fumble problem is that he wouldn't know our system. So I'm kinda mixed about it but I do feel like we may be his top choice. And he's probably better than what we have, so IDK?

    The way I understand it he's been cleared by the NCAA. He has to be approved by the SEC office though.

    I just don't think he's a good fit for UGA, personally. I could be wrong. But, I thought he was an overrated QB at ND, and nothing has changed my mind about that yet.

    Yea it's an SEC rule. If you've been suspended for any disciplinary reason at your former school, they have to approve you to be able to play without sitting out a season. It's not a NCAA issue.
