    I was happy with the playoff system. I liked it with 4 teams. Does anyone else feel like, if they move it to any more teams, we will always here the team that missed the cut off complaining. Where does it end? hahaha.

    I think 8 is too much and asking too much of the players. I also think they screwed up by using a committee and should have used top 4 from BCS system. That would remove the "we got screwed" aspect.

    Hopefully the committee will learn though. FSU shouldn't have been in there and were lucky they basically got grandfathered in from momentum of last season.

    It does need better organization. 5 power conferences, only 4 spots. This year they got lucky and used a manufactured loophole for "Lack of Conference Championship" for the Big 12.

    im just saying that 8 teams would give a chance for each of the power 5 conference to have atleast 1 team in and it would also prolly allow an undefeated non power 5 conference team in. this year had MS st beat ole miss than OSU wouldnt have made it in and they are (for those of u that didnt already know) the team that won the NC. it would just be adding 1 more game for the top teams. and if that was too much u could alway cut out a cup cake week.

    Then it would have worked itself out because OSU would have still lost to VA tech and TCU would have stayed in. If they go to 8 then people are going to shit bricks about the other 3 who get in.

    LOL, TCU most certainly got screwed. Maybe not if they weren't ranked #3 the week before but they were and got hosed.

    Top 4 after conference champ games should have been bama, Oregon, OSU, TCU.

    here is the perfect system. 8 conferences with no conference championship game. you play a round robin, best record advances. In the case of what happened in the big 12 this year, Baylor would get the nod with the head to head win. but with power 5, it's not going to happen unless you split the big 10 and the sec from 14 teams into multiple conferences.

    The playoffs should expand to 6 teams...

    The champion of each of the Power 5 conferences should get in, and there would be one wildcard. (Could be another team from one of the big conferences, or somebody else. Up to the committee.)

    Hard to see how much of an argument #7 and #8 would really have most years, so 6 is a good enough number.

    Also, the top two seeds get a bye, so it preserves the integrity of the regular season... Being REALLY REALLY good still MEANS something.

    Anyway, if it was Matt's CFB Playoff, that's how it would work.
