    Hilarious to me that the conference touted the "one true champion" thing all year since it was going to be a round-robin, then ended up crowning two champs and getting left out of the playoffs.

    100% need to expand and get a championship game. It should be a prerequisite for the playoffs.

    Yes. As it sat, its tough to say, but Baylor should have been champion, they beat us head to head. I think TCU was the better team, by far, but that's how things fell. A championship game could have decided one way or the other for sure.

    I agree... Baylor should have been champs.

    IMO, the lesser team won in the first meeting between Alabama and La State in 2011. They ended up winning the West and the SEC. We were lucky and got a rematch and beat the sh** out of them.

    Still, they rightfully won the SEC that year, b/c they beat us head-to-head in the regular season.

    Baylor should have been the Big 12 Champ, but the committee should have still picked TCU because they knew they were the better team. Isn't that the whole point of taking out the computers, they actually watch all the games and choose the "best" 4 at the end of the season? They were #3 the week before and didn't lose right?
