yeah I know that the Amazon lights are effective and arent all that bad, but they dont come with a lifetime warranty, which is what I really like. with something like a light bar I want to buy something more reliable and I know will last awhile and not run into many issues, and If i do, I have a warranty to where I can get a new one to replace it

 

I just dont want to be cheap with it and then regret wasting the $200 when something stupid happens to it

That's what I though until I saw dirtymike's on at the pit Friday night! Dang that thing had some insane range.

Haha good point. It still took me 2.5 hrs to clean. Then I had to clean the driveway, just finished actually.

 

LOL. I spent like 3 hrs yesterday washing it, and then after work today another 2 hrs. And theres still a bunch of spots that i need to get clean. I looked all over around here for a self service car wash but nothing!
Cant believe all the little places that mud gets into. It was worth it though.

 

Haha I hosed mine off by the dumpster at my apt complex. They gotta be pissed. Haha this is only from hosing it down.



Then I hit up the car wash for a nice pressure wash and brush scrub. Bout to get all the crevices tonight.

 

2.5 hours? I spent closer to 3 just on the undercarriage and engine compartment. I haven't even washed it yet.

Pressure washer helps speed up the process & like Frank said you had a lot more shit on yours.

 

Getting stuck in that one nasty hole on the corner of trail 15 & 20 definitely didn't help. I think I had about half a wheelbarrow full of mud on the back of my skid plate. I'm still kicking myself over that. I don't understand what the hell I was thinking driving into it a second time after I was barely able to back out of it the first time. I think my brain sometimes shorts out.

 

There might have been a voice coming through on the radio saying to go for it
So who took home the dirtiest truck

 

I used a gallon of purple cleaner soaked everything down that wasn't a body panel then went back with a pressure washer, then washed it by hand took 4 hours and after the next normal wash it should be "clean".

Had time to spray the underside down with brake cleaner tonight to see whats going on with my front diff issue and it was just my drivers side axle/seal its got a lot of play and is leaking good so I made a service appointment for Friday(hopefully the 100k powertrain warranty is good to go) I'm sure they will prob try to blame it on my fox lift but I got it aligned right after install and it hit all the factory specs. The truck being down is a good excuse to ride my motorcycle for the week.

It depends on if you're going by volume or surface area. I think I won by volume. Between my skid, bumpers, fender wells, body panels, and sliders, I'd estimate I carried home a full wheelbarrow full of mud from Citrus. Surface area on the other hand...Thorny Mike just has more of it than I.

Whoops thanks for pointing that out ha. I actually followed Bryant too close that Friday night I hopped on the trail behind yall and spooked yall.

 

Haha, that you did. We was up to no good and thought you might have been the 5-oh before you caught up enough for the blind guy in back to see it was a Taco. The spraying must have happened after I let you go by.
