Looking to replace my stock suspension on my 2015 off road Tacoma and figured I might as well upgrade while I’m at it. Looking at either 5100s or OME nitro chargers. Add a leaf and probable UCA’s as well.
No added weight, want to keep the ride as soft as I can but no concerns with a little extra stiffness. I live in CO and drive up all the “4x4” roads to higher altitude trailheads mostly, standard forest services roads with occasional Ruts. Daily driver and looking for something all round good without breaking the bank. $2k-ish is my price range. Thoughts on the difference’s between these kits or any other that might fit my needs?

I second this, I just ordered the HD OME full suspension kit but want to hear opinions. I read in another thread they both had a bad case of settling but rumor has it(other threads) OME corrected some of the dramatic 'settling'. It might be worth noting front coil pairing is also to take into consideration so I'd be curious if someone also chimes in with what coils to pair with the Nitro Chargers for the 2015 and no weight like OP describes which may help additionally with shock selection.

The huge settling I have read comes from the 3rd gens on 887 and 888's since it was heavier. Haven't paid much attention if that was prevalent with the 2nd gens or not.
Correct me if i am wrong.
