2015 owner with honest 3rd gen review

Saw some new 16s on the dealer lot today. Went in and played possum pretending to want a trade in so they'd let me drive one. Cuz lets be honest, we've all at least thought about it. While the grill is horrifying, the rear end is absolutely awesome. It looks so much beefier and the hydrologic tailgate is on point. The hood scoop was an improvement over the 15 as well. Fired it up and right off the back was a weird squealing noise, almost like a belt but different. The salesmen tried to recover fast but it was very noticeable but eventually went away. The interior was nice, the touch screen was way better than the 15, but I didn't like the switches to the left of the steering wheel. No room for switches, and a cubby hole that would barely fit a cell phone. It did have a wireless push start that I thought was pretty neat too. Got it up to 70mph and it just didn't "feel" right. That smooth pur from the motor on my 15 was gone. More of a sporadic scraggly hum. Didnt really notice a loss of power, maybe a hair. It just didn't seem to have that nice smooth ride I was accustomed to. In the end im glad I have my 15, just wish I could swap the bed and tailgate over and I would have the perfect yota! Just a little info for anyone out there that is thinking about moving up
