    Hi guys,
Im looking to get a DCSB 4x4 in TRD Sport and Towing and Entune premium. I live in NorCal. For an OTD price, I was quoted 36,500 OTD. Seems a bit high for a sport...Ideas?

$32,000 OTD is the avg paid that I've seen. Don't pay more than $33,000 OTD

Thanks, I've been looking around to find the average price paid for the model I want in the same state!

What is OTD? Includes state sales tax? Registration? Unless you better define what you are including or not no one will be able to tell you what is a good deal or not.

What other options? The radio options range over an additional $1000 compared to a "base" TRD Sport. It is easy to find the MSRP for any configuration on the Toyota website.

In general, if you include dealer fees (things like "document fee" or "theft registration") but exclude sales tax and dmv registration you should be looking for $1500 to $2000 below MSRP.

Well he may know he wants a 2015 for sure, in which case definitely hurry up rather than wait too long!

But yes - definitely be aware the 2016 is a new generation of truck and you really should decide for sure you want a 2015 if you are going to purchase now. See the 3rd gen section for what is known so far about the upcoming 2016.

Yeah I know it's a new generation and all, but I seriously think the 2016 got hit with the ugly bat. Haha!

What do you guys think is a fair price?

No worries, everyone just wanted to make sure you knew about the 2016. I just bought a 2015 myself as I wanted it in preference to a 2016 for various reasons.

Again, look up the MSRP for your exact configuration (or look at the window sticker for it on the lot) and aim for $1500 to $2000 below that for a price before sales tax and registration (but including all dealer fees). You can do the math for yourself as to what sales tax and registration is in your state based on the price.

Here's what I paid for my 2014 (end of 2013)...I ended up with $30,999 plus fees and tax - yes I know CA is different but you might want to buy out of state or use it as a reference ;) I was living in IL at the time and the Sport was ~$400 less

You were offered retail price. Tax, license, & Doc Fee's in California generally add up to almost exactly 10% of the purchase price. So if $32,600 is sticker and you add 10% ($3,260) the total would be $35,860

They weren't offering you any deal...

I understand that. I just wanted to know what a good counter for both parties would be? I was thinking 34k? Thanks a lot

When I bought mine I shopped the payment. My 2009 was 300 month. My 2015 is 400 a month. A hundred more a month for 6 years newer

    Too few to list.
My DCLB 4x4 Sport had a sticker of $32.6K. They sold that to me for $30.7K plus tax/license. About $34.200 OTD. Cabe Toyota in Long Beach, CA - Contact Dan Duddridge
