It's ok. Using Amsoil from the beginning would have prevented that. Cut your losses and hope you can recoup some of your investment with a part-out

So let me tell you more. One time I was changing my Amsoil oil when out of nowhere I had to piss like a sum bitch. It was either go now or piss my pants. No time to wash my hands. Well...you can do the math on what happened next. My life was forever changed. And my wife walks with a limp these days too.

    Just sayin'...:notsure:

Yea, my bad.... I deserve all the shit you assholes gave me. I posted on the fly without giving much info.
I bought the truck new, now has 94K on it. It's a TRD Off-Road 4.0 4WD stock 6 speed manual with factory rear locker. The stock BFG's I thought were junk, dry rot cracks appeared at 20k. I replaced them with Toyo Open Country tires, again stock size. Seems as if I get a lot of tire spin and not enough traction. I know aggressive tires would end that but it's a daily driver. My 91 was unstoppable even stock with street type tires.
I'm just looking for some input from someone that has a similar truck and suggestions on how to make it better on road and off.

To be fair,,, I've had a lot of offroad experience and more trucks than I could count. I'm just looking for info on this particular truck. I've owned MANY Scouts and Jeeps but now that I'm a little older I'd like to keep a more reliable rig.

I think I'd go back to the tires - do you have 70k on the Toyos now?

Also, what kind of terrain are you slipping on? I just took mine out for a spin out on the Mojave desert this weekend and I had no trouble scrambling up and down steep rocky trails and sandy washes in 4wd. I'm 100% stock except for upgraded Bilsteins (4600) and tires (Cooper Disco AT3s). I came back impressed, as always with what I'm able to do, following around the SxSs out here...

Also it's an automatic, which, is nice after having a manual, because it transfers the power a lot smoother than I could shift.
