Thanks! And yeah the pro grill for sure changed the way the truck looks. I really liked the pro package minus the suspension so I now have all the pro parts minus the hood scoop which I never really liked.

Got a small package in the mail form @paranoid56 the other day only a few days before I leave to San Diego.

The gluten free sticker gave me a good laugh.

Just a few updates! Stoped by pelfrey yesterday on my way home from san diego to pick up my bumper.

    6A8C58C8-928F-4195-814B-239DAFD3F0CC.jpg

Today i had some time before I have to go back to work tomorrow so I decided to put it on.

Let me tell you the hardest part about the whole process was getting the factory bumper off!! That dam little pin wouldn’t lift.

All said and done the pelfrey bumper went on without a problem. Much easier then removing the factory one. I was a little sad because the pelfrey bumper has a pretty good scratch in the powder coat that I found when unwrapping :-( I didn’t check it on pick up because I didn’t think it needed to,be being that it was not shipped. I contacted them they are going to send me some powdercoat touch up paint and see how that goes. Any way

About 2 weeks ago I went to the local electronic shop and picked up the wires and parts I needed to make my own harness as the s2 doesn’t come with one. Baja does sell one but I made my own it was exactly the length I needed without all the extra cost and wire.
    80055448-4608-46FF-B3BE-142E5EEC8E6A.jpg

Also made the connectors and ran the wire back from my switch pro

This will be the 3rd time I have routed wires to the rear of the truck and it’s starting to show. I need some stock in zip ties.

Peaking through the s2 opening is my fox 2.0 reminding me I need to either change it to a fox 2.5 with dsc or kings with the adjusters and redo the front. But that’s for another day.

Thanks. Initially they were set to level the truck at about a 1.5 from the factory. After swapping out the all pro pack from the standard to the expos my truck had a very distinct stink bug effect front down back up. I don’t mind a little rake because it’s functional when loaded and towing but this was way too much. So I adjusted my coils up to about 2.75 inches up front and that’s where she sits now on both sides.

There is a lot of info on the forums about adjusting and running to much pre load, binding the coils, to 4 threads = 1 inch to 1 inch = 1 inch 16 threads is 3 inches, not to go over 20 threads. It’s really very person specific and truck specific. For me I found the best way to measure lift was getting a base line measurement. Fender to hub, (2015 is about 20inches) then put in your new suspension and don’t adjust it let it settle. Then remeasue and see where you are at. I was at about 21.5 I adjusted a lot of turns but for me 4 turns didn’t = 1 lift. All said and done I’m 2.75 inches or 22.75 inches right and left in the front. What that translates to on the coilover is driver side about 3 inches of threads showing and 2.75 inches passenger side.

At these settings when I put a jack under the truck I get about 4 inches of down travel/ droop before the wheels come off the ground. I think recommended is >2

NO new mods to report on unfortunately besides removing the rear mud flaps. I did pick up a couple of led lights on a copper wire. They are powered with a usb through my goal zero which give off good light at camp. Also finally ditched the Coleman propane tanks for a small 5lbs refillable one. In the long run it will be cheaper and more convenient.

5/18/2018 Took a trip recently with a few friends up to the white mts camped near reservation lake still in search of a lake we can camp lake side tho. Initially this trip was for the overland expo but we didn’t really have anything to buy and didn’t want to be near that many people. so what turned into a stop at the expo for an afternoon went to just going to the white mts and bypassing the expo all together.

Nothing to major done to the truck lately mostly trips involving an airplane. Will be installing the RCI rear diff skid plate that showed up yesterday.

Also need to get ahold of @HeliMedic monday to get to get together an invoice for the dual battery system I want to be running. I’m tired or needing to carry ice so is my back.

Currently I’m only running the RCI rear diff skid but their stuff is solid and nicely built. I got that put on today.

I also swapped out my white dome light under my tent to red so they both match. The thought of having a white light and option to use red to maintain night vision was good but in reality I just used both lights. Red provided enough light and I don’t see all the dust on my gear as I did at night under white light so both are now red. With being as OCD as I am I’m suprised it stayed missmatched as long as it did.

Talking about OCD a minor change I made was I had the roof vinyl wrapped a few weeks back in preparation for a roof rack. With the rack in place I won’t be able to wax and clean under it well so the wrap will protect my paint from the Az sun. Still undecided on a rack I like prinsu but the front runner is more solid and the option to run light under the rack in front and on the side is appealing to me.
