it's a good excuse to get outta the house for a couple night...can't really have a bonfire inside the house and drink beers with a bunch of random while BSing about anything and everything while watching people make repairs on their rigs all night in anticipation for another day of wheeling with many like minded toyota owners

sometimes commas and other grammatical adjustments are deemed unnecessary when describing pure awesomeness or other instances where the thought process can lead you in a direction best suited for run on sentences or in other cases if you want to just watch the grammatical world burn

As far a repellent I don't think anything works better or worse from what I tried. But this year I bought a batter powered bug zapper ill have at my camp. I know at least one other person bought one as well and if a few others get them I think that will help keep things under control.

Edit: remember I have will the generator welder if people need power out there just pitch on fuel if you're going to need it all day.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Bugs: Soak some clothing in permethrin prior to leaving. You can get it at husbandry-supply stores. I forget the exact amount to dilute it to, but I wanna say something like 1% or .15% or something.
As for skin, the stuff I've been using works very well for everything I've encountered: Natrapel 8-hour (look for something containing Picaridin at 20% concentration).

RC charging: I may bring something that will work. I've got two chargers, both can operate either AC or 12V battery clips. The connector is going to be the issue. If you're interested, I can post/PM a pic of the connector I have, and you can source a mate to make yourself an adapter. I may very well bring my son's truck...thanks for the idea!

Firewood: This is something I very rarely pack (we're odd: the two things everyone associates with camping we just don't do: fires, and tents), so it's likely I won't this trip. It sounds like there will be more than enough to go around, so I'll either throw a beer or buck at someone with wood, or see if I can have my son invite ourselves over to another fire.

I plan on having plenty of wood so if I have a fire you sir are welcome to wander over. It's red base if you're wondering which one will be mine.
