I live in a western state and im packing wood 7 hours south of me it's not a big deal bud.

 

Well, we are the land of laws. I remember when it was the land of the free and you could bring wood across state lines.

 

I wonder were all of the gas stations that sell wood get there wood from... Isn't moab like all scrub oak crap?? I garuntee they ship wood in.

 

they do ship it in. I work on a guys logging trucks that bundles it and ships it to gas stations all over the country.

 

Lol! So how is that legal? And me or u bringing wood from 5 hours away illegal?

 

I'm looking forward to burning Utah wood.......from Idaho.

Fire wood restrictions are usually because of the bugs they can carry... Oregon has certain areas that you can't bring fire wood into because of all the damage the bugs do... I think the wood beetle has killed something like 300,000 acres so far...

I know it's inconvenient and sound stupid... but having seen the damage first hand in my hunting grounds... it's insane how much damage a stupid bug can do.

but in the end it's a non issue as JBerry stated... Utah has no such restrictions

 

^which is also why you see restrictions in colorado

we've brought wood into UT for years though...if we need to restock we'll grab some from the gas station...

as long as it prevents people from doing stupid things like cutting down trees at Area BFE, bring in as much wood as you want!

not much vegetation to begin with, so don't destroy what they have around the area...

 

I've been to BFE a few times never seen any trees.

This is exciting. I don't know if I've ever been somewhere without any trees. Driven through desert highways with nothing but a few cactus' for scenery, yeah, but not really stopped and actually -been- there. I can't go anywhere up here without trees being in my damn way.

 

just wait till the guy finds out im burning Biodiesel and blowing lots of smoke that'll set him off.

It's great but shade is a tough to find. I recommend you bring as much shade as possible.

those are just really big bushes not trees.

I assume you are talking about me. And now that i know that, I just need to know how you got to be so awesome that you needed to install a swingset on your nuts for all the homies. It's clear you like homies all over your nuts with a Rollin coal diesel too..
