seriously though.. i was measuring for clearance on the 285's.. there is a lot of debate if you can put them under the stock land cruiser. I was also adjusting my suspension. Basically with the globes and three 10mm bolts, you can adjust how the AHC systems sits. In conjunction with the torsion system you can manipulate how you distributive the weight..
i thought it was all her-say until i did the rear gloves(two min) and got two inches of lift..

one of the reason why i was hoping a LEXUS tech was going to be in Moab to help me understand it all..

Some say... why would you want to wheel daisy.. I say why not.. isnt that what she is made to do. Others say why didn't you buy a Land Cruiser? you can get them with lockers front and rear.. what people also dont know is the front diff in 99 is one of the "weak" points changed in 2000. I got the LX for that reason alone and the AHC. i can spend ~1400 on a ARB locker.. fix the problem. spend the extra grand and get the rear done..

one of my comments in the Ham radio thread... kind of the same thing but with the radio...
its almost like Lexus said... this is the prefect package... and we are going to make it impossible to change.. i was at a couple different local shops and big box places.. the local shops said you have to buy the aftermarket dash kit and bring it for us to install.. Best Buy were like Nope we not touching it do to the Nakamichi system... Or dont get me wrong I love the AHC system but i have to spend 500 to get it uninstalled.. and its like a days worth of work... Sorry about my rant... seriously only really bad thing about the LX470 IMO..

Ours is getting there. Camp kitchen inventory and clothes packing is all that is left.

I believe i got them at lowes. Could of been home depot Though. They are nice though, i can stand on it no problem, really sturdy. Which also makes it heavy when its packed full.

Hell yea, thats alot of bottle water....
