    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    Would probably be faster than drawing, chamber a round, and then fire.

    I understand that some folks prefer to keep a round out of the pipe but if I am going to pull it out that means I am ready to pull the trigger and shatter at least 2 lives over it so why would I make it more difficult. Not trying to start a firearm carry debate but just checking the law from those on the ground.

    just saying if it's a heated debate over beers, lets keep the guns without one in the chamber...

    we had a few years back a heated debate/fight among two good friends and one had a gun on his side...wasn't a fun scene...not because the gun, but because a heated debate among drunk people can escalate very quickly...too many people around to risk any misfire over something stupid...

    there will be some of us with open carry and concealed while we're out there...just gotta keep the risk down when you can..

    i'm sure you're plenty safe with firearms, but it's a message to everyone really...

    i'm pro gun, but not a fan of accidents that could have been easily avoided...

    So what you're saying is debate about guns over beer is good and debate with guns over beers is bad... makes sense.

    I work with weapons from pistols to 5" naval guns daily so I live weapons saftey...one of the worst part of the work I do is the investigations following a discharge. I see a ton of stupid shit with guns far too often that makes me shake my head Everytime!

    Once my beer opens my gun goes into the console vault unless there are bears/coyotes/mountain lions nearby...
