I went to go fix it and found it all corroded inside, I let it sit too long and i know the motor is all fucked up. So I have to rebuild that too now.

first day In moab I locked the truck, and put the tires at like 15 and it stayed that way till the last day when I swapped tires and unlocked it before I left. It was quite funny chirping all around the town of moab lol.

You have to get a tire off the ground, put it in neutral, and slide the rack

Sounds like a massive pita. It's hard enough cleaning up from breakfast in time to hit the trail.

Moab is not an expo trip. So the more stuff you leave at camp the better IMO. Tools, parts, food and beer on the trail. Oh and moab balls. Thats all I bring

That's part of the trifecta (it's the middle trail) and the three are probably some of the most famous in moab. Super fun, has plenty of challenging obstacles but like most of them can be bypassed if you Dont want to. Last year we ran gold bar rim backwards (that's the last trail in the 3) so we went in then back out a the crack. Makes it a way shorter trail and you get most of the good obstacles since the majority are at the end anyway.t's can be a very long day though. 11 to 12 hours with very minimal breakdowns.

Golden Stairs. But I've done that trail every time I've gone there. First year was open/open on 3" spacer lift on 33s. Second was SAS still on 33s. This past year on 36s

 

Doing another shake down tomorrow. good old ice/snow wheeling.

the idea is to find the weak links before moab. I know the front drive line is a weak/ limiting link and I have that in the plans to try and get done before moab.

I'm more going out to learn how it reacts on the new suspension

 

Would make it easier if it was haha. But a flatbed with the crawler on it would be a bit sketchy going over the mountains behind the taco haha

 

I plan on running it this year only we are going to start at Rusty nail. Im sure mark is still game for that trail this year.

Konsta also did poison spider as a night run last year which apparently was fun except for Rocky breaking
