LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
I'd still be up for trying it. There is also a chance that I would be locked in the rear by then too. I'm not really worried about body damage as long as I dont come home with massive tears in the body. Cause then I have to worry about body damage from the wife.

If you aren't locked in the rear I wouldn't even bother with it. Wouldn't want body damage from the wife hahaha!
Oh I'm sure we can do that. I have a few hard trails I want to run, but I told jace I would volunteer for trail bossing or at least tail gunning/helping on a trail run. We can find some awesome trails to do/do with other people. Cuz the event really is about meeting new people!

    a public service announcement:

for those new to the game and thinking about trails....

feel free to plan ahead and build groups to go with on trails you really want to hit...nothing wrong with that..most of my trails are planned out prior to...

but leave some flexibility in your schedule...

we're looking at 80-100 trucks possibly, so that's 8-10+ trail runs going out each day to choose from...

the popular trails, we have to stagger our start times..but if one trail run gets full, keep an ear out for others who also were looking to run it and get something planned for the next day...or pull together a second group and head out 1-2 hours after...

key is, be flexible..create a list of trails you want to run..keep an ear out for others looking to do similar runs..talk around with trucks of similar build and create trail runs of similar capabilities..have fun..feel free to hop in a group with a more experienced trail leader who can help you develop some skills (if they feel comfortable with that)..and did i mention, have fun? :D

I actually want to do Elephant Hill. That's the one with the cool caves right? I've never done it before and the pics looked cool.

dome plateau has a big cave...

elephant hill has the joint hike which is sort of caves...basically slot canyons

on the back side of elephant hill is beef basin which has a good indian ruin near the intersection of the bobby's hole trail and beef basin...

off the road going into elephant hill/canyonlands is davis canyon/lavender canyon which has some more rock art, arches and small caves...

tusher tunnel has some cool caves..

Yeah I need to commit to something soon. Not sure how work is going to be then so I am a little hesitant to make plans.
