Having never been to ABFE or Moab before I really have no idea where I want to go other than to minimize potential damage to my daily driver. I did see some pics on the RT14 page that I'd like to see & that is 'Top of the World' on the Kokopelli Trail & whatever the trail is that has the drive in/through caves.

I took it all apart sprayed it down with some sensor safe cleaner, I literally had to smack the part the hold the gear with a dead blow hammer to break it loose, it cleaned up very nicely now it slides I and out like a champ, mark it's really really simple inside there, is yours having problems engaging??

Sense I e never been out there I have no idea what trails I wanna run really... TOTW looks amazing and the sound of Wheelin in caves/tight "tunnels" sounds like fun... I'll be fully armored but open/open with 295/75/16's... Any suggestions? I'd like to limit body damage but also test my skills and have a blast

Nice. I replaced the burnt out motor (and noticed some corrosion inside that was not there before. Then when I reconnected it I could hear it trying to move, but the gear wasnt turning. At that point it was like 11 and I wasnt about to rip it apart, so I just put it back together and left it for another day.

You'll be alright. Like said before. Go on trails with similarly equipped vehicles.

when are you headed out? I want to hit up Kokopelli but the whole trail starting just outside Grand Junction. I don't want to blast though so I"m figuring 3-4 days... but all depends on if anyone else is down. I'll be heading out the Friday night before I think... waking up in Moab.

I'd like to spend 3 days from Colorado side into moab on the Kokopelli. I think if we left the memorial day Monday morning that we could be at abfe by Wednesday evening. If you are thinking the Friday before memorial day that's a bit sooner than I was thinking but I'd be down to go Sunday before memorial day

Monday would be fine! I plan on going out Friday night or early Monday morning to avoid traffic, and get as much wheeling in as possible. I would just meet you and who'm ever else wants to go, at the trail head rather than convoy out from Denver (then again we are just over 4 months out so things can/will change between now and then)

Awesome. That is my plan then, probably pack the truck Sunday and may camp nearby Sunday night. I've read a handful of trip reports and 150 miles split into 3 days should be more than do able.

locked front and rear it's not a challenge at all but still fun to do. I never even lifted tire on it.

I know for a fact if rocktoy makes it he wants to do it and depending on how my first few days go im also in. For me it depends on how much my front drive line flex limits me.

Edit: I forgot to mention that my second shake down went amazing other than I need to figure out how to make my front driveline get more angle.

Last year I had a very intense trail list I wanted to hit. Only ran about 3/4 of it though. As of right now I'm on the maybe list. I have another vaca do go on this year so funds are VERY tight. I have 3 must do trails. If I attend I will focus souly on these 3 before committing to any others. They are Pritchett, rusty nail, the pickle. Most likely I will be there 29- 31. If everything goes perfect I will be there the entire week like normal but who ever hahas anything go perfect?

Got room for one more? I was planning on being somewhere in the area Monday afternoon.. but if there was a group doing the Kokopelli on Monday morning I could hurry things up and make that work.
