Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
In case anyone missed it, UT prohibits wheels spacers. (according to LiftLaws.com).
I would imagine with the number of us descending on the area in May, any LEO looking to make some revenue for his town and a name for himself will know this and would be more than happy to remind y'all.

    (Hooray for running pizza cutters!)

how would they know you have wheel spacers?

most areas in the state will not bother you for tires sticking out past the fender unless you're being an asshole...then they'll pull out the rule book...

moab has become better about this as well...hell you should see some of the crawlers driving around town there

spacers and adapters are different man, Ive had my all pro adapters on forever and haven't had an issue, Ive talked to box rocket who has had his spider trax on forever and he hasn't had an issue, Ive done safety and emissions twice now with nothing, i wouldn't worry about it

If your vehicle isn't registered in Utah I don't think that law would apply to you. Kind of like if your state doesn't require a front plate and you go to a state that does, the cop can't ticket you...

I think most people who get bothered by the LEO in Moab, are either doing something stupid, or driving unlicensed, non-street legal crawlers around town.

if you drive through a state, you need to adhere to the local laws...

things like license plates, do not apply...

but if you go through a state with restrictions on window tint, they can give you a ticket if you're too dark...same with mud flaps, tire coverage, not covering up aux lighting, etc...

The Moab police generally don't care about stuff like that. It's the cops in surrounding towns that will mess with you. We've talked to some of the local cops and they said they don't really like the out of town cops. Though that's mostly an issue during EJS when they hire cops from out of town. We got pulled over twice one year going to EJS for tires sticking out (barely an inch) haha. Technically it's illegal in colorado to have a lift but they don't enforce it. We drive around in our fenderless, no turn signals, no reverse lights truck all the time without issue.

UTVs are street legal there too so don't be shocked seeing them drive around. They used to not be and they were always getting pulled over

I had a great example of this up in Wyo fishing. The DOW guys was checking my fishing licence at the boat ramp, and giving me shit about my raft not having been inspected by the AIS, even though all the inspection places were closed, and noticed that my plates were "expired" (it was October and they have September as the valid date). Now, in CO you have a one month grace period from the month on the plate, and I told him this as he was giving me shit for expired plates, and tried to insist that it was dependent on the state that you were in, and I told him he was wrong and we went back and forth on this.

He went to run my AIS tag and let me get on the river, which was nice, but I am sure looked up or called in about the tags and realized that he didn't know WTF he was talking about and didn't mention it again.

I'm not sure about that. I got pulled over last year for following too close, tint and tail lights. He checked the laws and tinted tail lights are legal in idaho, and the tint level is more in idaho well. So because I was legal in my state for both he just wrote this little warning thing so if I got pulled over again I could show that I already knew, it wasn't a fix it tho.
