I'm starting to have a look at trails I want to run! Can you guys help me out and drop some knowledge?

I'm on 33's with 3" OME lift, full skids, sliders, winch and open diffs. Rear bumper is stock, but I don't care about smashing it up on departure as I plan on getting a HC eventually anyway. I'd like to run some trails that are challenging and fun, but I don't want to jump in over my head and get myself (and my ride) in trouble. I'm new to the Moab style trails.

From the rating descriptions on trail damage, it sounds like I would be looking for 5's. Elephant Hill and Strike Ravine look like fun; do you think those would be good ones for me? I would like to tag along on some of the more advanced trails with bypass options for the obstacles that are out of my league. Are the difficult spots on Fins and Kane Creek bypassable? I'll have a few days to kill so I'm looking for some other suggestions!

I'm already planning on Kokopelli and Top of the World on the way in.

all good trails for sure. after a few of them you'll have your Moab balls on and want to do the harder stuff your truck is capable of.

A warning if you let your moab ball get to big there is a chance you could injure your truck. This is a lesson I must learn ever couple of years or soo.

You can do trails up to like 7s for sure, maybe 8s with a strap if you don't mind the chance of a dent or giving it a good moab bump. Fins you'll be fine, Kane you'll be fine...I wouldn't reccomend cliff hanger or metal masher open open

Yeah... I'll be staying on the conservative side. My truck is my DD and I'm not going to chance it pushing my limits... I'll leave the impressive stuff to you guys who've trailered and know Moab or are just willing to risk it.

For me... the trip and experience is way more important than conquering any obstacle or trail for me.

    Can't wait though!
