On the Monday after last year, I watched some fellas come in with a huge pusher RV w/ a trailer w/ some ATVs on it. They came all the way down and set up right above where you drop into the main trail system. The next day, I think, they loaded back up after scouting with the ATVs and went up the road to where I assume was mentioned earlier.

TLDR. Should be able to get about any type of trailer down in the camping area. You might drag the frame or a hitch but it's doable.

Are any of them doable by an open diff 5 lugger? And is anyone planning on going on them?

Or more realistically, anyone want a co-pilot? Haha. I'm in Nevada for the summer so this seems like the best chance I'll get to go to Moab.

I might have a seat for a copilot! It won't be on the most exciting trails though (moab noob here)

This is my opinion but if you have the chance to go. DO IT!!!! There will be plenty of trucks with open seats and lots of people jumping around from truck to truck. You could do Gemini bridges for sure and the drive out to BFE is easy to as long as you don't drive like a race truck and go off the road. :stirthepot:

Did Poison Spider and Backwards Bill in my open diff 6 lugger and another guy in an open diff 5 lugger, I believe, a couple months ago. I was surprised how well both of us did. I had to take a line up Wipe Out Hill due to the long wheelbase of my LB hanging up. The other AC did made it up w/o any help.

Yeah this is the best chance I'll probably ever have to go ( unless I end up in this mine full time after I graduate) so I'm in. If nothing else I'll explore arches while everyone Is off with their fancy four wheel drive and their lockers and their extra lug nut

there's many trails to go on with 2wd...a good view is coming down long canyon from the road to canyonlands...you can go check out island in the sky (canyonlands area N of the confluence), then take long canyon down to potash road...hell you could just take long down then hang a right and head into the white rim area for a bit before turning around (that's a 100+mi total trail)...

go up hurrah pass and see how far you can make it on chicken corners...

go take a drive up la sal mountain

you can do onion creek no problem....that's just to name a few good options for a 5 lugger

Oh I know, I think his context was the difference per hub though. Hence the 5 lugger taco vs his 8 lug one tons.
