2015 T.A.Co. Rock Therapy trail thread

I did it in my friends 07 wrangler last year on 33s. Super fun trail. Wipe out hill was kinda scary (but the fun kind of scary). It's definitely taco capable.

 

By no water maybe he means it's low. It has springs all over that canyon that feed it.

 

I also didn't like that it's a scratchy trail. One of my favorite things about Moab is none of the tree pinstripes.

 

It's not a scratchy trail for you, but for me being taller I get scratched a bit. It's the price i pay for wanting 42" tires. I just picked a tires size and went from there)

 

Enough water to make it enjoyable for us and the pups?

 

it typically has the most water...except for when we camp at roberts bottom...the dolores will be the most water we see...



and there's a second water crossing of the dolores as well...


mill creek has some nice swimming holes to hang out at as well...

 

it changes every year but last year it was low and we had a good time. my girl and I ended up finding a deep spot to take a dip into. Guess it all depends on how much it rains before you go on the trail. I'm praying for rain middle of the week. when most of you are showing up so it wash's all the trails for maximum traction and gives lots of water to drive through, even though my front brake squeal after they get wet. #tonproblems

Pumped for the water on Kokopelli.

We were planning on doing KC on Saturday as Bob suggested to us but debating other trails if there's not much water.

 

I may have worded that wrong with dry..When I ran it last year in April it had more water in it than it did this year in March. However there were a couple areas that were who knows how deep that aren't specifically part of the trail. The 20-30 crossings were <8". There's still shade, sand and moisture down in the bottom. When I was just there last week I didn't run that trail but I was told it was drier than last year at the same time. It had rained the days before which made everything nice and green. The flowers and cacti were just starting to bloom and there were still puddles and wet sand here and there. Also snow capped peaks in the background...those pictures @NYCO posted look like great spots

The scratches I'll never mention again but it is obvious when in a group of trucks there who has run KC and who hasn't. And honestly one of the hardest obstacles is in the first couple miles on the corner. I'm just saying bc I had told some friends it was the right choice. Afterwards I felt I overhyped it bc the obstacles weren't what used to be.

I think we are all referring to the Saturday before we all leave, same day as the BBQ and Raffle.

 

KC on Saturday 5/30? I'm in.

 

I now we are doing some nasty trail that day I think they call it Pritchette canyon, and the day before we are doing Rusty nail.

What? Says who? I'll try to bring teh go pros. That will be my main camera contribution lol. Or I'll take a shit ton with my iPhone. I don't use a real camera haha
